Joseph is a 14 year old little boy from Liberia, West Africa, and he is dying of heart failure. Joseph's country is one of the poorest nations in the world, and does not have a doctor that can help Joseph, even if his family was able to afford it.
Joseph and his mother need $1000 to fly to Ghana for an echocardiogram that will make him eligible for heart surgery. Joseph's family can hardly pay for food, let alone a $1000 trip to the Korle-Bu Heart center in Ghana.
Lucky for Joseph, Emmanuel is a boy that truly understands his situation. In fact, 1 year ago he WAS Joseph.
In 2007, Emmanuel was also living in Liberia, and also dying of heart failure. By the grace of God, Emmanuel was brought to America for heart surgery and a second chance at life.
When we found out about Joseph, Emmanuel wanted to help.
While Emmanuel was hospitalized we discovered one of his hidden talents was painting! So that is just what E-man is doing, he is painting. He is going to try to paint Joseph to Ghana, and he is going to try to paint Joseph a miracle.
Emmanuel loves painting African paintings, and will paint you a lovely 16X20 for your donation of just $25 + s&h($15). Emmanuel loves to paint huts, palm trees, animals, people carrying things on their heads, and many other things.
Please help give Joseph a chance at life by buying a painting!
